United Way of East TN Highlands fights for the health, education and financial stability of our community by investing in our community through partnering with local nonprofit organizations that are aligned with our mission to break the cycle of poverty.

Community Investment

United Way of East TN Highlands fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in Washington, Carter, and Johnson counties in Northeast TN. In this endeavor, United Way will invite nonprofit organizations to apply for Partner Agency status. Investment amounts will be determined by United Way in relation to outcomes compared to other similar partners. Investments over multiple years are contingent on funds availability and Partner Agency performance.

If your organization is interested in partnering with United Way of East TN Highlands:

Once your organization has become familiar with United Way, our goals, and our strategies, we invite you to complete our Partnership Inquiry Form. The purpose of this form is to provide your organization the opportunity to describe your agency, its capacity, and its programs/services.

This form is not an application for funding. It is your opportunity to share information on how your organization’s work aligns with United Way of East TN Highlands’ mission and focus on the ALICE population.
