Created by United Way of East TN Highlands, in partnership with Carter County Bank and Appalachian Opportunity Fund, the Financial Empowerment Center was formed to help people in our community move from a struggling financial position to a state of financial stability with new saving habits, higher credit scores, lower debt burdens, and professional development opportunities.
With our main location in Downtown Elizabethton, we have additional hubs throughout Washington, Carter and Johnson Counties. Appointments are preferred so that we can properly prepare for your personal situation.
