city of johnson city & United Way

United Way of East TN Highlands is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that raises and allocates funds for nearly 30 programs working to improve the health, education and financial stability of our local families. We bring people and organizations together to do more together than any of us can do on our own. Together, we tackle some of the community’s toughest issues. We’re after solutions that create real change. It’s not simple, or easy. But we’re making progress and seeing results.

So far this year, United Way agencies have helped more than 10,000 individuals in Washington County alone. This means that on average, 1 in every 5 homes has needed help this year and found it because of donations that have been made to United Way. We hope that you’ll make it possible for the next family to find the help they need.
