CONNECT. SERVE. LEAD. Do you have a desire to grow in leadership skills by making a difference in your community? This United Way group advances our community through service, connection, and leadership by taking part in professional development through family- friendly networking events, volunteering opportunities and innovative leadership training. The Emerging Leaders Society also plans and produces United Way’s Annual Comedy Night. An event unlike any other in the East TN Highlands region, this family-friendly comedy night features multiple stand up comedians, a dessert bar, non-alcoholic beverages, a silent auction and a cash bar available. Typically held in late February, the exact date for 2021 has yet to be determined.
